Connor studied Jazz and Guitar at Willamette University in Oregon, playing and arranging for various jazz ensembles (combos, the university's big band, a vocal jazz group). He got his teaching start in 2018; teaching Bass for an arts camp in Alaska, and has done various teaching work since then, such as leading ensemble rehearsals for youth programs, teaching private lessons, and teaching at music camps.

Connor is now using his skills and knowledge to teach students of Firebird, and impliment his unique and exciting experiences with them!
